How Qualtrics Accelerated Hiring in the Nordics with TA.guru’s Recruiter Playbooks, Sourcing, and TA Consulting

The Challenge

As Qualtrics expanded its presence in the Nordics — opening a new office in Stockholm and growing its Pre-Sales Engineering team — the company faced a familiar challenge: hiring in a new market, for highly specialised roles, with limited in-house experience.

The EMEA Talent team had successfully scaled across multiple regions, but hiring for Pre-Sales Engineers in Sweden required deep local market knowledge. Typical time-to-hire for similar roles across the business had stretched up to 24 months, and the team needed a faster, smarter way to deliver results — while also building internal capability for future growth.

The Partnership

To bridge this gap, Qualtrics partnered with TA.guru to accelerate its Pre-Sales hiring strategy in the Nordics through a combination of Recruiter Playbooks, targeted sourcing, and Talent Acquisition consulting and training.

The engagement focused on three key objectives:

  • Build immediate pipeline – TA.guru delivered a curated list of over 100 targeted candidate profiles to jump-start top-of-funnel activity for the Pre-Sales team.
  • Create lasting knowledge assets – A detailed Recruiter Playbook was developed, capturing local market insights, sourcing strategies, and reusable frameworks for future hiring.
  • Upskill and empower recruiters – Through hands-on consulting sessions and training, TA.guru coached the Qualtrics TA team on sourcing strategy, candidate engagement, and market analysis, ensuring long-term self-sufficiency.

Using its data-driven knowledge transformation engine, TA.guru analysed Qualtrics’ historical hiring patterns and live market data to produce:

  • Custom sourcing strategies for Sweden and the wider Nordics region,
  • A total addressable market analysis and competitor landscape,
  • Candidate engagement and outreach recommendations, and
  • Playbook-based recruiter training and consultation sessions for the TA team.

The Impact

With TA.guru’s Recruiter Playbook, targeted sourcing, and training support, Qualtrics reduced time-to-hire for Pre-Sales Engineering roles by 87% — from 24 months to just 3 months.

This collaboration didn’t just fill roles — it built capability. The Qualtrics TA team gained deeper market understanding, enhanced sourcing confidence, and a repeatable model for hiring niche technical talent in new regions.

The Playbook and consulting sessions continue to serve as valuable internal assets, enabling faster ramp-up and consistent hiring quality across EMEA.

Laura Zapala, Head of EMEA Recruitment, Qualtrics

Recruiting Is Having Its Developer Relations Moment Two forces are reshaping candidates before they ever reach a pipeline.
